History: The West Michigan Chapter was founded in 1985 by individuals from the nonprofit school in Kalamazoo. The chapter has steadily grown and parallels the growth in west Michigan. Memberships now covers the entire western side of Michigan's lower penninsula and includes the most respected, honored professionals. Area served by chapter: Western Michigan; essentially from the states southern border north to Petosky and from about mid-state on the east to the Lake Michigan shore on the west.
